ALTHEA was built by Flye Point Marine in Brooklin Maine in 1988. In 1994, Duffy & Duffy and Flye Point Marine merged to become Atlantic Boat Company, a full-service boatyard known for their excellent service, quality craftmanship, and carrying on the tradition of high-quality Downeast boatbuilding.
This BHM 28’ is the perfect example of well-loved Downeast flybridge pocket cruiser. ALTHEA is powered by an ’88 VOLVO TAMD-41A engine with 2,240 hours. She has a full suite of 2020 SIMRAD electronics including a AIS, chartplotter/fish finder/depthsounder, radar, GPS and VHF. The open flybridge has custom canvas walls, a helm station and helm chair, a bench seat, and a 360° view. The Main Cabin has a helm station, custom helm chair, bench seats port (berth) and starboard, plenty of natural light, perfect for leisurely cruising. The spacious cockpit and has 4 Lee Rod Holders, and a custom raw water tank, perfect for the fishing enthusiast, two deck chairs and a table, and a custom swim platform that makes that dip in the water on a hot day, just what the Dr. ordered.
With the extensive upgrades (see listing ) and personal touches that these owners have put into the boat, ALTHEA makes a great pocket cruiser for couples. The current owners are selling to upsize for extended cruising.

«When things weren't working out with my previous Yacht Broker, a friend of mine suggested that I contact Yacht Access to sell my Sea Ray. I contacted Dan Paolillo at Yacht Access and there was absolutely no pressure. After our initial conversation Dan followed up with a list of comparable vessels recently sold and a list of similar vessels currently available with asking prices. After looking over the information we decided on an asking price and within 90 days Dan had my yacht under contract. Two weeks later it was sold. Since then we've kept in close touch and will hopefully be closing on my next vessel soon. After no success selling my 48' Sea Ray Sedan Bridge with my previous broker, calling Yacht Access was the best decision I ever made. I would encourage anyone looking to buy or sell to contact these professionals.»
