Joy! is a perfect example of a classic Down East Styled dayboat/ weekender and needs to be seen to be fully appreciated. In a day when boats seem to be getting more complicated with folding this and that electronically controlled gizmos, Joy! stands out for her elegant simplicity, outstanding build quality, and lovely design. Designed by Doug Zurn with the concept developed and nurtured by Bob Johnstone, co-founder of J-Boats and founder of MJM, the MJM 34Z was the first MJM model and started a remarkable string of boats. The ride of the boat in a seaway is truly remarkable. The 34z’s unique opening front pilothouse windows hinge up for an outstanding open- air feel. The pilothouse isinglass side curtains roll-up to fully open the boat on a beautiful day or close her off from the elements when the weather turns.
Joy! was purchased after an extensive and careful search by her current owner. The current owner is a very knowledgeable boatsman who was in the boat equipment business for many years. His business allowed him inside access to many boat manufacturers and MJM was always special to him due to the quality of design and construction.
The current owner has a thorough maintenance program of washing, waxing, and cleaning the bottom.
“JOY!” is nicely equipped and detailed.
Interior:
The spacious interior provides seating for six around the table that easily drops to form a large berth for two. The large enclosed head features VacuFlush; galley with large refrigeration compartment and microwave. Satin-finished cherry interior with high gloss teak and holly flooring.

«When things weren't working out with my previous Yacht Broker, a friend of mine suggested that I contact Yacht Access to sell my Sea Ray. I contacted Dan Paolillo at Yacht Access and there was absolutely no pressure. After our initial conversation Dan followed up with a list of comparable vessels recently sold and a list of similar vessels currently available with asking prices. After looking over the information we decided on an asking price and within 90 days Dan had my yacht under contract. Two weeks later it was sold. Since then we've kept in close touch and will hopefully be closing on my next vessel soon. After no success selling my 48' Sea Ray Sedan Bridge with my previous broker, calling Yacht Access was the best decision I ever made. I would encourage anyone looking to buy or sell to contact these professionals.»
