The 2001 Tiara Sport 2900 Coronet is a distinguished cruiser, celebrated for its classic styling and robust construction. Known for its versatility as a day boat, this model is a favorite among seasoned boaters who appreciate quality craftsmanship and a smooth ride. Measuring 29 feet in length with an 11-foot beam, the 2900 Coronet offers a spacious cockpit ideal for entertaining, complemented by a solid fiberglass hull that ensures stability and comfort even in moderate seas. This vessel is powered by gas engines, delivering a cruising speed of 21.72 knots and a top speed of 28.68 knots, with a range of 171.19 nautical miles. It's perfect for day cruising with family and friends, coastal fishing trips, or hosting guests on the water. While the cabin space is limited for overnight stays, the boat's high-quality fit and finish, along with premium materials, highlight its luxurious appeal. Potential buyers should consider the typical maintenance needs of older models, such as electrical system checks and attention to potential water intrusion in the bilge area. Priced at $22,500 and located in Salisbury, Massachusetts, this Tiara 2900 Coronet offers a compelling blend of performance, style, and reliability.
The 2900 Coronet is an attractively priced sport cruiser with a great deal of versatility, unique styling with a huge cockpit plus a unique curved reverse transom. She's constructed on a modified-V hull with a wide beam and a substantial 19 degrees of transom deadrise. By design, the Coronet's emphasis is on open-air enjoyment and her large single-level cockpit will seat eight in comfort. The engines are under the two seat boxes, and the entire forward section of the deck can be electrically raised for access to the motors. Aside from the generous seating arrangements, the cockpit is equipped with a wet bar aft of the helm seat as well as coaming bolsters and a centerline transom door. The high windshield is notable, not just for it's sturdy construction, but for the reverse-angled spray guard along the top. Below decks, the Coronet's interior provides berths for two with an enclosed head, mini-galley, and a teak-and-holly cabin sole. Keeping with the Tiara fleet she retains the superb fit and finish seen in all Tiara models. The Tiara Sport 2900 Coronet is a testament to Tiara's commitment to quality and craftsmanship. Known for its solid fiberglass hull, this cruiser delivers a stable and comfortable ride, making it ideal for day trips and entertaining. The spacious cockpit is a highlight, offering ample room for guests, while the overall fit and finish reflect Tiara's use of premium materials. However, the cabin space is limited, which may not suit those looking for overnight accommodations. As a marine surveyor, I would focus on inspecting the electrical systems and checking for water intrusion in the bilge area, common issues in older models. This vessel is competitively priced for its class, appealing to buyers who prioritize quality construction and classic design over modern amenities. It's best suited for experienced boaters who appreciate a reliable day cruiser with a touch of luxury.
Owners of the Tiara 2900 Coronet appreciate its solid construction and classic design, though some note the limited cabin space.
