The Sportsman 247 platinum edition of center console was manufactured by Sportsman Boats. The vessel was a very well-constructed and laid out center console and very popular with the inshore and nearshore fisherman. The vessel has two transom livewells with a fold down backrest for the transom seat, under the transom seat is a very large access hatch allowing full access to the lazarette and bilge areas the bilge, livewells, and wash down pumps are all located here, a well-positioned helm housing the batteries, with access from the portside of the console, seating is provided by a leaning post type framework with two seats and a Yeti 65 cooler stored underneath. Further storage is fwd of the helm with a double wide bench seat on top of a cooler. Fwd of the seat are two storage lockers (rod storage with a casting nest storage compartment between fwd of the rod storage areas is the anchor locker this area forms a large, raised casting platform, the platform can be covered by large vinyl covered cushions to provide a sun pad or further seating. A Black powder coated Aluminum half tower with a white FRP hard top protects the helm and provides further storage in the overhead electronics box. The vessel is powered by a 2013 300 HP Yamaha Four Stoke outboard engine with an Atlas electrical jack-plate
