SAMSARA is a 30m, RINA classed, expedition motor yacht with an unrestricted navigational notation. She was designed to MCA/Lloyds Class 100A1 by noted naval architect Jon Overing and was commissioned in 2019 in Fort Lauderdale.
Intended for those who appreciate the finer things in life, SAMSARA offers a perfect blend of comfort and performance. Featuring spacious living areas, robust exterior decks and a healthy inventory of sporting equipment, she is an ideal yacht for exploring coastal and distant waters.
Designed to handle the worst of inclement conditions, she is an extremely efficient, stable, and safe boat due to her full displacement design- she moves through the water rather than on top of it- her hydrodynamic efficiency, round bottom, steel hull (LR steel, 8-16mm), zero speed stabilizers and light-weight marine grade aluminum superstructure.
Kirschtein Interior Designs of London was used to create a live-aboard interior which is a traditional North America cherry wood with neutral colored soft furnishings. She sleeps eight guests in four staterooms with ensuite heads and accommodates up to five crew in both the forward quarters (two heads) and the engineers' cabin aft (ensuite head).
SAMSARA was meticulously designed by Overing Yacht to be comfortable during long range expeditions, including tank testing, which is a method used to evaluate the hydrodynamic performance of a yacht's hull. Her extremely generous tankage for all fluids affords her long distance exploration. Having just returned for Fort Lauderdale from the Mediterranean, SAMSARA has travelled 38,000+ nautical miles from Glacier Bay Alaska to Istanbul, Turkey. She has seen over 125 ports of call in 25 countries and has transited both the Panama and Corinth Canals twice.
«When things weren't working out with my previous Yacht Broker, a friend of mine suggested that I contact Yacht Access to sell my Sea Ray. I contacted Dan Paolillo at Yacht Access and there was absolutely no pressure. After our initial conversation Dan followed up with a list of comparable vessels recently sold and a list of similar vessels currently available with asking prices. After looking over the information we decided on an asking price and within 90 days Dan had my yacht under contract. Two weeks later it was sold. Since then we've kept in close touch and will hopefully be closing on my next vessel soon. After no success selling my 48' Sea Ray Sedan Bridge with my previous broker, calling Yacht Access was the best decision I ever made. I would encourage anyone looking to buy or sell to contact these professionals.»
