Currently located in Placencia, Belize, this four-cabin yacht offers the perfect balance of performance, comfort, and style that Lagoon catamarans are celebrated for worldwide. This vessel can remain in captain-only charter management for potential tax benefits in 2025 - see details below.

Highlights: Wanderlust is exceptionally well-outfitted for extended cruising or liveaboard use.

  • Powered by reliable twin 45-HP Yanmar engines

  • Watermaker (60 L/hr)
  • Lithium batteries (4x 300ah) installed in 2025

This vessel offers wonderful autonomy and comfort, whether you’re island hopping or staying off-grid for extended periods.

The galley is equipped with a 3-burner propane cooktop, propane oven, refrigerator drawers, and good storage space.

Accommodations: Wanderlust’s layout includes four spacious cabins, arranged symmetrically with two cabins and two heads in each hull. Each cabin has its own ensuite bathroom (with electric Quiet Flush head), ensuring comfort and independence for all aboard.

These guest accommodations are impressively roomy for a catamaran of this size, offering privacy, generous natural light, good ventilation, and ample storage. Every berth features upgraded under-bed slats for extra comfort, and the cabins also feature opening portholes, full size mirrors on the cabin doors, 12V fans, and USB charging.

Exterior features: Wanderlust is fitted with durable exterior PVC cushions, stainless steel davits with manual winch, boarding ladder, outboard engine bracket, twin wooden pulpit seats, a remote for the electric windlass at the bow (with secondary controls at the helm), and a deckwash pump for either fresh or saltwater.

Wanderlust's cockpit is fitted with a fixed table and lots of compartments for storage.

Sails: The Lagoon 40’s classic rig delivers good sailing performance, with a Dacron mainsail and a self-tacking jib, ideal for short-handed or solo sailing.

Wanderlust's shallow draft further expands your cruising range, allowing access to the numerous cayes and remote anchorages that dot Belize’s extensive barrier reef system.

Begin your journey in the vibrant coastal town of Placencia, where local culture meets world-class sailing. From here, Wanderlust provides a perfect launch point to explore Belize’s breathtaking marine life, turquoise waters, and hidden cayes.

Whether you’re looking for serene anchorages, thrilling dives along the barrier reef, or adventures ashore, this yacht is equipped and ready to deliver unforgettable experiences.

This vessel can remain in captain-only charter management or be purchased for private ownership.

Advantages of a Yacht Charter Business in Belize

Placing your catamaran in charter with a boutique operator in a premier sailing destination like Belize offers compelling financial benefits, combining income generation with significant tax advantages. Charter operations can offset ownership costs through guest bookings while allowing owners to depreciate the vessel as a business asset, potentially deducting maintenance, insurance, and operational expenses. Under current 2025 tax provisions, charter boats may qualify for accelerated depreciation schedules and business expense deductions that substantially reduce taxable income.

Note: Tax implications vary by individual circumstances. Consult with a qualified tax advisor to understand specific benefits applicable to your situation.

Wanderlust is an outstanding example of the 2020 Lagoon 40: spacious, capable, and thoughtfully outfitted. She’s ready for immediate Caribbean cruising and represents a rare opportunity to step into a proven, turnkey vessel in one of the world’s premier sailing destinations. Contact Amanda Haley to schedule a personalized tour and discover this remarkable vessel.

For those considering a charter placement, Belize's year-round sailing conditions, the proximity to North American charter clients, the country's favorable business climate, and the growing reputation of this stunning destination for luxury charters all contribute to an attractive operational environment for charter ventures.

Client Testimonials

«When things weren't working out with my previous Yacht Broker, a friend of mine suggested that I contact Yacht Access to sell my Sea Ray. I contacted Dan Paolillo at Yacht Access and there was absolutely no pressure. After our initial conversation Dan followed up with a list of comparable vessels recently sold and a list of similar vessels currently available with asking prices. After looking over the information we decided on an asking price and within 90 days Dan had my yacht under contract. Two weeks later it was sold. Since then we've kept in close touch and will hopefully be closing on my next vessel soon. After no success selling my 48' Sea Ray Sedan Bridge with my previous broker, calling Yacht Access was the best decision I ever made. I would encourage anyone looking to buy or sell to contact these professionals.»
