Miss Phebe II Yacht | 62' Whiticar 1971
Your Opportunity to Own and Maintain an Amazing Piece of History
"Miss Phebe II" (originally named Patsea V) was built in 1971 by Whiticar Boat Works in Stuart, FL, of solid mahogany construction. She is Hull #42 and was one of Curt Whiticar’s Favorite Builds.
E. Bronson Ingram II, well-known billionaire and business investor, commissioned her new and it took Whiticar Boat works 2.5 years to build her. She was one of the famous Shearwater custom sport fishing boats designed and built by Curt Whiticar, and she has been featured in many magazines for her lineage, beauty, elegance, performance, and her story.
Owned by a retired high end custom home builder and his wife, they wanted a project to work on. So they rolled up their sleeves, assembled a dream team of shipwrights and stripped her down to her bare core for a complete refit (2018-2020). They took on the stewardship of redoing a tired worn out 50 year old boat. When you look at her today most of the purist would consider her a piece of art surrounded by an amazing pedigree full of rich history and a ton of stories. The present owners wanted to bring her back to life, update her with some of today’s modern yacht features like New AC units, and refit her with the utmost attention to detail so she can be enjoyed by her next family for another 50 years
«When things weren't working out with my previous Yacht Broker, a friend of mine suggested that I contact Yacht Access to sell my Sea Ray. I contacted Dan Paolillo at Yacht Access and there was absolutely no pressure. After our initial conversation Dan followed up with a list of comparable vessels recently sold and a list of similar vessels currently available with asking prices. After looking over the information we decided on an asking price and within 90 days Dan had my yacht under contract. Two weeks later it was sold. Since then we've kept in close touch and will hopefully be closing on my next vessel soon. After no success selling my 48' Sea Ray Sedan Bridge with my previous broker, calling Yacht Access was the best decision I ever made. I would encourage anyone looking to buy or sell to contact these professionals.»
