Wow! This long keel, canoe stern, cutter rigged sailing yacht by Union Yacht/Robert Perry design is a rare find in this
condition. She has received an extensive refit and last surveyed at a value of $250k. Listed as a 36', she is
actually 42' overall. She is a blue water cruiser that has sailed across the Atlantic and is rigged for single handed
sailing. Her repower Beta engine has less than 50 hours on it. This offshore sailing yacht is based on a heavily built
hull that has been totally rebuilt and upgraded. The owner reports that the underwater hull exterior was ground down
to good fiberglass and then coated with an epoxy system and the whole hull was repainted. The decks and cabin
were also totally redone. The fiberglass hull and decks are in essentially new condition. The sailing rig has been
completely upgraded with only the aluminum mast and boom original. All the standing and running rigging has been
replaced. The electrical and mechanical systems are all essentially new using high quality components. The
workmanship of this complete rebuild appears to be excellent. With the outfitting complete, this yacht is well suited for
extensive offshore sailing She is currently on the hard available for showing.
