Cruiser-Racer Pearl

PEARL is a well maintained and updated 1984 Beneteau First 42 from the design table of German Frers. This version of the First 42 was built between 1981-1985. It's a very popular racer/cruiser capable of good performance and comfortable cruising. The current owner has continually upgraded the boat. In 2024 the topsides were completely stripped and Awlgrtipped at Dauntless Shipyard in Essex, CT. The Beta 50 HP diesel is approximately 13 yrs old with a recently replaced control panel. Alternator and house batteries also recently replaced. All new Raymarine electronics including AP. Chartplotter, AIS, VHF/AIS. Inverter is new and the water tanks were replaced in 2024. The Harken furler is 4 years old. Dodger and bimini are in excellent condition. 2 anchors; Rocna & Fortress. Standing and running rigging replaced in 2022. The keel bolts were just replaced (2025). A complete list of inventory and upgrades is available for serious buyers. The interior requires a bit of TLC, though the Sunbrella cushions and v-berth mattress are just a few years old. Additional photos coming once the interior is cleaned up from the keel bolt work. The sale included an 8' Caribe hard bottom dinghy with a Honda 4-stroke 5HP OB and 2-8' kayaks.
