Based on the same hull as the Mason 43, but with several notable design improvements, it combines the proven offshore capabilities of its predecessor with modern enhancements. The redesign includes a modified rudder, a raised sole for increased fuel tankage, a new aft companionway, and a full-width mainsheet traveler. Perhaps most significantly, the deck was upgraded from teak to a fiberglass with deep, diamond pattern non-skid, reducing maintenance while preserving the yacht’s classic elegance.
