Brilliant is a classic Morris Linda 28 that has undergone a complete refit in 2022 and 2023. As a practical matter she is as close to new without building her from scratch. The mechanical and cosmetic work was performed by the venerable Dutch Wharf Boat Yard in Branford, CT. The standing and running rigging refit was completed by Chuck Poindexter of the firm Sound Rigging in Essex, CT. Her upgrades include, but not limited to:
Her refit costs are well in excess of the current market value of the boat. If you’re looking for a well-kept Morris, you will not find one in as good shape as Brilliant.

To Port you will find a quarter berth and the ship’s main electrical panel. Just forward of the galley and quarter berth are two settees along with a bulkhead mounted fold down dining table (not currently mounted but will convey with the vessel).
At the forward end of the starboard settee, you will find a Force 10 diesel heater to keep the cabin toasty in the shoulder seasons as well as the controls for the new Dometic 10,000 BTU AC to keep you comfortable during peak summer temperatures.

«Yacht Access found my first Hatteras for me over twenty-five years ago; since then they have helped me buy and sell four more boats – and become great friends. Their service during the sale is great, but their service after the sale they is exceptional – without the knowledge and guidance provided by Yacht Access I would never have had such a pleasurable ownership experience. The staff at DDYS knows everyone in the boat business and helped me find the best service and supply vendors to take care of my boats – I could not have owned five boats without them!»
