Motors
(2) x 15KW Oceanvolt servoprop ELECTRIC motors
Oceanvolt motors have a reputation as being top of the line marine electric motors!
The Oceanvolt motors are fed by the MASSIVE 110 Kilowatt Lithium Iron Phosphate battery bank through MG Energy System components - All professionally designed and engineered by Oceanvolt consultants for the 2022 refit!!
The massive battery bank is designed and intended to support missions to remote regions such as the Arctic.
***These motors are AMAZING - but if you are interested in Hakluyt and NOT the electric motors - we are amenable to removing them and selling the boat without propulsion so we can re-power our next boat with electric propulsion! Diesel motor platform and shaft tube are still in place and can easily be re-powered with another diesel engine.
