1995 Catalina 250 Water Ballast Centerboard Trailerable Cruiser Sailboat
Description:
This Catalina 250 water ballast model incorporates the best features of a trailerable water ballast boat with Catalina’s renown comfortable interior and a big boat cockpit. New main and jib sails from Bay Sails in 2018 but lightly used. The interior provides comfortable seating for 4 in the U-shaped settee which easily converts into a spacious double berth forward with opening hatch. There is also a double berth aft. The enclosed head provides privacy and has an opening port, oversized portable head, sink and vanity as well as a hanging locker. The cockpit is spacious with comfortable seating for 5. It sports a steering column with a stainless steel wheel, all lines led to the cockpit and four self-tailing chrome winches (two on cabin top and two at the helm) for ease of use in single handling. This boat has been well maintained and updated and is a one owner boat. Most lighting has been converted to LEDs inside and running lights. This boat is easy to sail with a swing keel (1’9” depth when raised, 6’ when deployed) and a rudder that can be swung out of the water by removing two wing nuts … great for getting free when grounded or for beaching if desired. The bottom has been finished with an Interlux waterproof finish and anti-fouling bottom paint … ideal for maintaining in a slip. The engine is a Honda 9.9 electric start with very low hours, new in 2015, for easy starting for captain and crew. Comes with a mast stepping system that makes it easier to raise and lower the mast, even while on the water.

«When things weren't working out with my previous Yacht Broker, a friend of mine suggested that I contact Yacht Access to sell my Sea Ray. I contacted Dan Paolillo at Yacht Access and there was absolutely no pressure. After our initial conversation Dan followed up with a list of comparable vessels recently sold and a list of similar vessels currently available with asking prices. After looking over the information we decided on an asking price and within 90 days Dan had my yacht under contract. Two weeks later it was sold. Since then we've kept in close touch and will hopefully be closing on my next vessel soon. After no success selling my 48' Sea Ray Sedan Bridge with my previous broker, calling Yacht Access was the best decision I ever made. I would encourage anyone looking to buy or sell to contact these professionals.»
