Catalina 42 MK II hull #500 built in 1995! The Catalina 42 has earned an international reputation as the leader in her class. The design offers speed under sail, easy motion and sure, predictable handling characteristics. The deck was designed with short-handed sailing in mind, mainsheet, halyard and single line reefing all led aft, wide weather decks with inboard chainplates make passage forward easy and secure. "PASJA" features the "Two Cabin with Pullman Owners Berth" layout for the ultimate in comfortable quarters and spacious saloon. This "Fresh-Water" vessel is equipped with a Bow-Thruster and Autoprop for easy maneuvering under power. She has been well cared for and equipped with the latest gear!



Accommodations


Starting in the bow is the owners stateroom marine head, vanity sink and shower area with automatic sump pump, Owner’s stateroom features a large pullman berth with custom latex mattress pillow and stowage drawers under the berth. Opposite the berth are side by side hanging lockers and bureau with a seat between, 6.4" standing headroom makes this a very spacious area of the vessel. Moving aft to the main saloon we have the varnished teak pedestal dinette table with generous wrap-around seating. Outboard facing nav station, chart table storage, swing out chair and enclosures for electronics and entertainment center, partial settee aft of nav-station with electrical panel outboard. Vanished teak joinery with ash side paneling on the hull, teak and holly cabin sole, blue cushions in salon, pleated porthole shades, Aft head with marine toilet, vanity sink and shower sump. (real mirrors in both head compartments) The aft cabin has a a roomy double berth with hanging locker and dresser with bureau

Gourmet size galley to port with composite countertop finished with a granite look, double stainless steel sinks with hot and cold pressure water mixer, three burner gimbaled propane stove with oven, 10 lbs LPG tank in separate cockpit locker, Built-In Microwave Oven, Top loading refrigerator/freezer with 2008 Adler Barbour refrigeration unit, Overhead dish rack, Ten cabinets, Large dry goods storage locker.

2023 Dacron Main plus the Original Catalina Dacron mainsail, 2-reef points, 2024 135% Tri-Radial Jib plus 2003 North Sails 150% furling genoa on Schaefer Furling Unit. Aluminum mast and boom, double spreader masthead rig, keel stepped, S.S. wire standing rigging, Mainsheet with traveler, Solid Vang, Adjustable genoa leads, Control lines led aft to cockpit, (2) cabin-top mounted Lewmar #40 self-tailing halyard/mainsheet winches, (2) Lewmar #50 self-tailing primary genoa sheet winches.
