The Oceanis 381 has been specifically designed for warmer climates with an impressive number of deck hatches and opening ports. The salon/galley is spacious and well-equipped for cruising. The aft guest cabin has a full berths, standing head room, hanging locker, house battery(s) storage and engine/running gear access. To starboard aft of navigation station there is a large day head, sink and standup shower. The forward V-berth has standing head room, en-suite head and a hanging locker.

Sailing wise, the efficient hull shape coupled to the efficient sailing rig, where this boat has a simple to use roller furling genoa and an efficient mainsail (electric halyard winch) ensure that this boat is a pleasure to helm and the crew to sail. She moves with the lightest of breeze yet remaining absolutely steady and comfortable in strong wind to satisfy the more adventurous performance oriented buyer.

Everything on deck, from the walkthrough transom to the stemhead fitting, has been studied in the greatest detail to make the Oceanis 381 a pleasing and efficient yacht. The large bimini protected cockpit features a well designed fiberglass steering console with navigation displays close at hand and is connected to a centerline cockpit table with folding leaf for entertaining that also doubles as foot braces for crew when sailing.
