2002 Pacific Seacraft 44 | Celestina
The Yacht Sales Co. is proud to present this meticulously maintained true bluewater yacht featuring traditional lines and a proven design that has earned a reputation as one of the top cruising yachts of her generation.
Celestina’s solid construction with intrinsic keel, full skeg hung rudder, high bulwarks and cockpit combings, combined with her canoe style transom make her extremely robust, safe and easy to handle in any sea conditions.
Her Canadian owners carried out a comprehensive refit before sailing her to New Zealand. Every facet was upgraded, rebuilt or replaced. The result is a combination of solid and desirable bones that you just can’t afford to manufacture any more, with upgraded new generation systems to create a strong and reliable classic yacht with all the modern features and conveniences of a new vessel.
Celestina is meticulously prepared and well-organized. She has great power generation, new solar panels and lithium batteries, and the array of communication equipment which includes Starlink and SSB and comes complete with a comprehensive inventory of spares and redundancy, including a spare set of electronics, parts and fixings.
The well thought out and very sheltered cockpit has full enclosures, cantilevered rear seating, wind vane steering, tender davits and a wind generator.
The clean and very tidy interior displays quality craftmanship and solid materials. Her galley is well laid out and equipped for cooking whilst under way, with good refrigeration, substantial storage and bench space.
In the saloon, the large forward facing nav station is adjacent to the galley. There is also a generous C-shaped settee with seating around a large table.
The generous comfortable V-berth has a shower and toilet and good storage. The rear cabin is accessible from both the galley and via the rear bathroom/head that has a separate shower space.
The current owners have made a significant effort to ensure Celestina is in turn key condition for her new owners, with all the preparation for her next adventure already done.
For a safe, comfortable, no nonsense cruising yacht capable of taking you wherever your heart desires, Celestina is a fantastic option.
«When things weren't working out with my previous Yacht Broker, a friend of mine suggested that I contact Yacht Access to sell my Sea Ray. I contacted Dan Paolillo at Yacht Access and there was absolutely no pressure. After our initial conversation Dan followed up with a list of comparable vessels recently sold and a list of similar vessels currently available with asking prices. After looking over the information we decided on an asking price and within 90 days Dan had my yacht under contract. Two weeks later it was sold. Since then we've kept in close touch and will hopefully be closing on my next vessel soon. After no success selling my 48' Sea Ray Sedan Bridge with my previous broker, calling Yacht Access was the best decision I ever made. I would encourage anyone looking to buy or sell to contact these professionals.»
