This 2004 Sea Ray 400 Sedan Bridge is a well maintained, clean two owner boat that has been lightly used. The current owner has had a change of plans which brings this Sea Ray 400 Sedan Bridge to the market. There are under 600 hours on the twin Cummins 6CTA 8.3 engines and are reported to be completely serviced. The interior shows close to new and the exterior fiberglass is in very good condition. As seen in the pictures some of the outside seats need attention due to the Florida sun. If you are looking for a vessel in this size and class range you will not be disappointed in how she presents.
Sea Ray really got it right with the 400 Sedan Bridge, an extremely popular cruising boat with a near perfect mix of European styling and luxury class amenities. First introduced in 1996, Sea Ray went on to produce hundreds of this model through the 2003 model year. This boat because it was built in the later part of the production run was one of the only 2004 models delivered.
Below decks the interior of the 400SB is an appealing display of high gloss cherry joinery, ultra leather salon seating, quality hardware and appliances. Her 2 stateroom galley down floor plan with dinette and 2 full heads features the master stateroom in the bow with a pedestal queen berth, cedar lined lockers, plenty of storage, ensuite private head with stall shower and built in entertainment center with TV. The guest stateroom is to port and features side by side bunks, double hanging locker, a seat for dressing and plenty of storage under the berths and other storage compartments. The salon features a large convertible sofa to port which converts electrically to a double with the push of a button. There is a sofa to starboard as well with an overhead entertainment center. To port forward of the sofa is a hideaway rollout bottle and glass storage compartment. Forward to starboard and down 1 step is a nicely equipped galley with room for a stand up refrigerator. Across from the galley is an elevated dinette with a view and under seat storage.
Cockpit amenities include aft bench seating stainless steel refrigerator, transom door leading to the hydraulic swim platform with davits and swim ladder. Wide molded in steps lead to a flybridge with a helm station to starboard and a companion seat to port. There is a large u-shaped seating area with a dinette table that converts to a sun lounger in the aft area of the flybridge, a perfect spot to watch the world go by. Built on an efficiently designed hull with prop pockets and underwater exhausts she is reported to cruise in the 25 mph range and top out at 29.
