Lucy is a 2009 Nauset 28 Hardtop. Her classic New England design and exceptional build quality, really stands out in the current market. Her size makes her a unique and desirable find. Personally, this is the kind of boat I would be happy to own myself. She is an excellent option for anyone seeking that timeless Downeast aesthetic in a boat that's easy to manage, requires minimal upkeep, and offers something distinct from the more common offerings in this size range. It's worth noting that Lucy was featured as Nauset Marine's Boat Show boat and was subsequently sold to her original owner in 2012. Importantly, the original engine was upgraded with a 2011 Yanmar 315hp diesel engine (474hrs May 2025). Furthermore, she is well-equipped with features such as a Sea Shell Green Awlgrip hull, a bow thruster for easy maneuvering, air conditioning and heat for comfort, updated Garmin electronics installed in 2021, and new batteries from 2024. The inclusion of aft cockpit seating and a table, along with a convenient shade system for sunny days, further enhances her appeal.
