Motor Yacht VIXEN

VIXEN is a 2015 Pershing 82 ft that enjoyed the care of exclusive owners and a full-time Captain all her life.

She received meticulous yacht maintenance sparing no expenses up to the recent service to engines, generators, air conditioning, and more to prepare her for the sale. 

She has been cruising the local waters of Miami and Fort Lauderdale turning heads at the sandbars and the restaurants on the intercostal; the very low engine hours are a statement to the exclusively private cruising for her owner. 

The 3 cabins and 3 heads layout offers the convenience of a Media Room on the lower deck making also this part of the vessel a socially enjoyable area on not only a sleeping destination. 

VIXEN is a 140,000 pounds sport yacht, that can fly at a maximum speed of 46 knots with the agility of a Cheetah. 

This is made possible by several key elements working together: hull design and construction, engine power, and surface drive propulsion. 

VIXEN’S planning hull was designed for high speed and has a block coefficient of 0.23 (she is basically flying over the water rather than floating in it).

She is built with composite fiberglass cored hull, deck, and superstructure allowing her to have the “Class A” certification issued by the Classification Agency RINA (Registro Italiano Navale); this means that she is able to navigate in the open sea with wind force higher than 8 (gale force wind with speed up to 46 mph) and waves higher than 12 ft. 

The engine power is supplied by two MTU 16V 2000 M93 with combined 4870 Hp at 2450 rpm;

Finally, the surface propulsion is provided by the SeaRex™ 140S surface drive system that offers integrated propulsion and steering systems for high-performance vessels complete with transmission, rudder system, and hydraulic actuators. 

She is located in Fort Lauderdale and will be shown at the upcoming 2022 FLIBS.
