2017 Grainger Barefoot 40 | Ventura

Ventura is a beautifully and professionally built 2017 Grainger Barefoot 40 sailing catamaran featuring four cabins, air conditioning and most options for comfortable tropical cruising. She is dry-stored annually in Phuket under professional care, and is now ready for the upcoming Asia cruising season.

The nearly full-width saloon and galley feature innovative drop-down front windows, allowing a refreshing breeze to flow through even on the hottest days. Alternatively, close up and enjoy the comfort of full air conditioning. The well-designed galley to starboard includes deep slide-out drawers, ample storage and excellent refrigeration, with additional fridge/freezer space to port for longer passages.

The galley’s clean glass-topped surfaces offer a modern and practical layout, while the adjacent port-side lounge area provides a relaxed space for entertaining or unwinding.

A professionally installed lithium battery system, supported by solar panels, ensures reliable power. A watermaker is installed to port under the helm, along with extra bottle storage, keeping utilities isolated from accommodation areas for quiet comfort.

Twin Yanmar ~30hp diesels are housed under the aft bunks for easy access and provide dependable propulsion when needed. Thanks to her lightweight foam composite construction, Ventura sails efficiently even in light winds.

Accommodation includes four queen-sized berths, each with its own ensuite head and shower. The bright 2-pack paint finish throughout the interiors enhances light and makes surfaces easy to clean and maintain.
