Center consoles were designed to be versatile boats capable of both fishing and cruising. Often, current center consoles are too cruising oriented with not enough fishing amenities, or the opposite and are too geared for fishing but uncomfortable to relax on. The Sailfish 360 is truly a perfect blend of both. Two recirculating livewells (74 gallons total), 29 rod holders, and 8 spreader lights give the boat fishing capability almost never found in this size center console. But also, two sunshades, forward facing bow backrests, and a climate-controlled cabin make the boat perfect for cruising as well. The deep gunnels make it very safe for passengers while underway and for families with kids.
For both fishing and cruising alike, fuel is always a concern. But with a 400 gallon fuel tank, the range at cruising spread is almost 450 nautical miles while still maintaining a 10% reserve – significantly further than other boats in class. With skyhook, joystick, integrated autopilot, and two 16” Simrad displays, the boat has technology almost identical to what would be on a 2025 model.
Below is a list of significant features, upgrades, and services. Click “more details” for a more thorough list:
The bow has a very versatile, large wrap around lounge with multiple configurations. It can be set up as opposite facing benches, or add a forward seat bottom to make the seating a full wrap around, or utilize the high-low table and a filler cushion to convert the whole area into one pad. If the table isn’t desired, it retracts all the way to the floor to sit flush in the foredeck.
Forward facing bow backrests rotate forward, and, when rotated out of the way, cleverly fill in with the coaming bolsters for seamless lines. Retractable bow cleats and a windlass hidden under a hatch keep the bow lines clean and snag free for fishing lines or walking on the foredeck. Six bow rod holders and a Fusion stereo remote make it a great area to relax or fish. And a custom bow bimini keeps the entire console and bow area out of the sun when needed.
The console lounge is double-wide for two passengers and a comfortable place to sit even on rough days. Arm rests and cup holders keep loungers comfortable. Two rod holders on each side can store rods for the run out to the fishing grounds. The lounge bottom lifts for deep storage underneath, perfect for bulky items.
The helm has easy access to all equipment and instruments onboard. Dual 16” Simrad touchscreens give plenty of screen real estate. Networked into the Simrad system is chartplotting, an open array Halo radar, autopilot, Fusion stereo, and CHIRP transducer for fish finding as well as side scan functionality.
An Optimus 360 joystick sits to port of the adjustable Black Ops edition Edson steering wheel. The Joystick makes docking and tight quarters maneuvering incredibly easy. It also features position hold and heading hold. Position hold keeps the boats position and heading, much like a digital anchor or sky hook. A great feature when single handling the boat, it lets the captain set lines and fenders without worrying about where the boat is drifting. It’s also great when waiting for a bridge, fuel dock, etc. Heading hold will allow the boat to drift but will keep the same heading, a great fishing feature as it prevents lines tangling when fishing.
The Optimus 360 screen has autopilot integration as well as rudder indicator and RPM displays. The Yamaha engine display is actually a Garmin device, giving redundant chartplotting and positioning, independent of the Simrad system as well as full engine instrumentation. Ample overhead hardtop lighting can be white, blue, or red. The Fusion Apollo unit and Fusion 800-amp drive 8x Wet Sounds speakers, and Wet Sounds subwoofer.
Three helm seats sit just forward of a ladder-back hardtop support with rod holders. An aft facing seat sits is behind the helm with fold out armrests, cooler storage, and a Simard display so those fishing in the cockpit can monitor the sonar. The seat hinges up to reveal a large baitwell and coupled with the port side baitwell, the boat has 74 gallons of recirculating livewells. An electric telescoping Makefast sunshade covers the aft facing seat and cockpit on hot, sunny days.
The cockpit can be completely open for fishing or set up for seating with a fold-out transom seat. A port side dive door opens inward, and floor mounted swim ladder make it easy and secure to get in and out of the boat even with heavy diving gear. There is a secondary fold-out swim ladder on the swim platform as well for access from the water in an emergency or for use as a secondary boarding area. The transom has seven rod holders for poles, flags, or any accessories with rod holder mounts such as a propane grill.
Very unusual for a boat of this size, the cabin is well developed, climate controlled, and can sleep a couple. A large Mastervolt inverter powers reverse cycle air conditioning for use underway or at rest without the need for a generator. A center berth has extension filler cushions to make the area a proper sized bed. Sink, mirror, overhead cabinetry, and toilet round out the cabin which makes it perfectly accommodating for overnights and much nicer than a traditional center console cabin for this sized boat.

«Yacht Access found my first Hatteras for me over twenty-five years ago; since then they have helped me buy and sell four more boats – and become great friends. Their service during the sale is great, but their service after the sale they is exceptional – without the knowledge and guidance provided by Yacht Access I would never have had such a pleasurable ownership experience. The staff at DDYS knows everyone in the boat business and helped me find the best service and supply vendors to take care of my boats – I could not have owned five boats without them!»
