At 26.2m in length, the MC86 offers enormous versatility and provides an appealing platform for both private use and commercial charter operation.
The exterior profile of the MC86 extends the look of the MC75 cat by 11 feet, retaining the same low profile and progressive style. What sets the MC86C apart, however, is not her size, but her flybridge.
The open flybridge variation provides an elevated position for the dual helm and a spacious seating area with a higher vantage point. The flybridge is accessed via a staircase on the aft deck, and its extended aft overhang provides additional stowage space for water toys.
Dynamic glass panels with UV reflective glazing run the length of the hull sides, with the hulls topped by a predominantly glass superstructure that spans almost the full beam. The use of glass is a feature across the McConaghy Multihulls range, aiding the influx of natural light to the interior spaces and enhancing the visual connection with the sea and one’s surroundings.
The MC86 has a spacious exterior lounge on the aft deck where meals can be enjoyed alfresco, and access to the interior is afforded by full-height, glass sliding doors. A second deck space resides forward of the superstructure, where there’s a large sun pad. Further aft, a hydraulic ‘beach club’ platform allows for easy deployment and recovery of the tender, access to the water, and a terrace at the water’s edge that’s large enough to accommodate a sun lounger.
The main saloon is open plan and features a lounge area, dining table, and an attractive galley with a centre console breakfast bar. The accommodation can be configured between the port and starboard hulls to suit owner specifications. For those looking to run this cat with a crew, McConaghy recommends a master suite and VIP double in the starboard hull, a guest twin and guest double in the port hull, with a bunk cabin for three forward.

«When things weren't working out with my previous Yacht Broker, a friend of mine suggested that I contact Yacht Access to sell my Sea Ray. I contacted Dan Paolillo at Yacht Access and there was absolutely no pressure. After our initial conversation Dan followed up with a list of comparable vessels recently sold and a list of similar vessels currently available with asking prices. After looking over the information we decided on an asking price and within 90 days Dan had my yacht under contract. Two weeks later it was sold. Since then we've kept in close touch and will hopefully be closing on my next vessel soon. After no success selling my 48' Sea Ray Sedan Bridge with my previous broker, calling Yacht Access was the best decision I ever made. I would encourage anyone looking to buy or sell to contact these professionals.»
